In detail
What the job involves
Half the systems we see were installed by someone who is no longer around. We trace the runs, find the fault, replace what has corroded and bring the whole thing back — usually the same day, usually for far less than a replacement.
Every system we install uses solid cast brass fixtures with 2700K LED lamps, buried and sealed cable, and a stainless transformer sized with headroom for later additions. Fixtures carry a lifetime manufacturer warranty and the lamps are rated to 50,000 hours.
The process is the same on every job: a free design visit after dark with fixtures in hand, a written fixed quote, a clean install, then a return visit at night to aim every beam once the system is live.
Our process
How it works
Night demo
We come out after dark with fixtures in hand and light the house in front of you. You see the actual design before anything is bought.
Fixed quote
A written plan with fixture counts, placements and one price. No hourly surprises, no change orders once the number is agreed.
Clean install
Most residential systems go in within a day. Wire is trenched, transformers mounted discreetly, beds and turf left as we found them.
Aim & aftercare
We return at night to fine-tune every beam once the system is live — then optional maintenance keeps it aimed and lamped year-round.
Components
What goes in the ground
Cast brass bodies
Machined solid brass with silicone gaskets. Lifetime manufacturer warranty on the fixture itself.
2700K LED lamps
Rated to 50,000 hours — roughly a decade of nightly use — and replaceable without pulling the fixture.
Stainless transformers
Toroidal low-voltage units in stainless enclosures, timer and photocell driven, mounted out of sight.
Maintenance plans
Optional annual service: re-aiming, lamp swaps, connector checks and seasonal changeovers.

What Houston homeowners say
I had wanted to do outdoor lighting for years, but it was hard to find a company to give a quote or even return my call. These guys came to my home and listened to my ideas, they made valuable suggestions. The installation was simple and their crew was very respectful. The end result is perfect lighting for my home.Charles Crixell
We are really enjoying our backyard every evening now, which looks like a fairyland. He did lots of reworking, repairing and adding to an old system. I very seldom give reviews, but I really was so pleased with the service and work. He came when he said he would and did what he said he was going to.June Stanley
Elwin was very professional. I watched him the whole time he was restoring my landscape lighting. He replaced bulbs for better lighting, installed new wiring, and did a great job of hiding wires. He arranged for my unit to run off of one box instead of three. My landscape lighting means the world to me.Luong Tieu Hung

Answers
Frequently asked questions
My whole system is dead. Is it the transformer?
Sometimes, but more often it is a tripped GFCI, a failed timer or photocell, or a shorted connector pulling the circuit down. We test the supply first before condemning anything expensive.
Only some lights are out. Why?
Usually corroded twist connectors, a cut cable from an edger or a lamp that has failed short. On older runs it can also be voltage drop — the far end of a long undersized cable simply is not receiving enough volts.
Can you repair fixtures somebody else installed?
Yes. We work on all common low-voltage brands. Where a fixture body has corroded through — which is what aluminium does on the Gulf Coast — we will tell you honestly whether repair or replacement is the better spend.
Is it cheaper to repair or replace?
Usually repair. If the cable runs and transformer are sound, replacing lamps and connectors and re-aiming brings most systems back for a fraction of a new install. We only recommend replacement when the wiring itself has failed.
Can you convert my old halogen system to LED?
Yes, and it is one of the best-value jobs we do. The existing cable and transformer usually stay, the lamps are swapped for 2700K LED, and running cost drops sharply while the fixtures stop cooking themselves.
