Why we split them up
The metro is not one lighting job
Plenty of contractors list thirty towns on one page and treat them identically. Greater Houston does not work that way, and the differences change what gets installed and what it costs.
River Oaks, Memorial, Bellaire and West University Place are mature-canopy neighbourhoods. The live oaks are large, often protected, and frequently the most valuable feature on the property, so the work leans on moonlighting from high in the canopy rather than banks of ground-level uplights. These are also the areas most likely to carry deed restrictions or an architectural committee that governs exterior fixtures and light spill onto neighbouring lots, so we check that before designing anything.
Spring, The Woodlands and northern Cypress are pine country. Tall, straight trunks with the canopy fifty feet up need narrow-beam fixtures and far more careful aiming than a spreading oak; a wide flood just lights the bark for ten feet and disappears. Pine needle drop also buries in-ground fixtures faster than anything else in the metro, which shapes how we set them.
Katy, Fulshear, Richmond and much of Cypress are newer-build areas where the landscaping is often under ten years old. Smaller trees mean the architecture does more of the work, so these designs lean on facade grazing, column and gable lighting and pathway runs, with the tree lighting planned for what the trees will be in five years rather than what they are now.
Sugar Land, Missouri City and Pearland sit on heavy gumbo clay that swells and shrinks dramatically between a wet spring and an August drought. Fixtures set straight into that soil tilt out of aim within a season or two, so stakes go deeper and get re-checked on the first maintenance visit. Drainage matters too: transformers never go on a wall next to a bed that holds water.
Across all of them the practical details are the same. There is no travel surcharge anywhere in the service area and no charge for the design visit or the night demo. Most areas get a site visit within a few days of the first call, and a typical residential landscape install is one or two days on site once the proposal is signed.
Beyond the areas with their own pages we regularly work in Klein, Tomball, Friendswood, Pasadena, Humble and Kingwood. If you are inside roughly an hour of Houston, we will come and light the house.

What homeowners across the metro say
We are really enjoying our backyard every evening now, which looks like a fairyland. He did lots of reworking, repairing and adding to an old system. I very seldom give reviews, but I really was so pleased with the service and work. He came when he said he would and did what he said he was going to.June Stanley
Elwin was very professional. I watched him the whole time he was restoring my landscape lighting. He replaced bulbs for better lighting, installed new wiring, and did a great job of hiding wires. He arranged for my unit to run off of one box instead of three. My landscape lighting means the world to me.Luong Tieu Hung
We are so excited about our new outdoor dramatic lighting. Elwin was amazing to work with, always on time and communicated throughout. He also rewired and reworked some of our existing lighting and replaced bulbs. Can’t say enough about his workmanship and his professional approach.Connie Loftus

Questions about where we work
Is there a travel charge for outlying areas?
No. There is no travel surcharge anywhere in the service area, and the design visit and night demo are free wherever you are within it. Pricing is the same in Fulshear as it is in Bellaire.
How far out do you actually go?
Roughly an hour from Houston covers it, which takes in everything from The Woodlands in the north to Pearland in the south and Fulshear in the west. If you are just beyond that, call anyway — for a larger project we will often travel further, and we will tell you honestly on the phone rather than after a wasted visit.
How soon can you get out to look at the property?
Usually within a few days of the first call for landscape work. The one exception is the holiday season: from late September onward the Christmas calendar tightens quickly, so if that is what you need, call sooner rather than later.
Do you handle HOA and deed restriction requirements?
Yes, and it comes up often in River Oaks, Memorial, West University Place and Bellaire. We check what governs exterior lighting on your property before designing, and we will supply fixture details and specifications if an architectural committee needs them.
Do you offer the same services in every area?
Yes — landscape, low-voltage, permanent, holiday, bistro and pathway lighting plus repair and restoration are available across the whole service area. What changes between areas is the design approach, because canopy, soil and house age differ, not the list of services.
My area does not have its own page. Do you still cover it?
Very likely. The pages exist for the areas we work in most, not the only ones we work in. Klein, Tomball, Friendswood, Pasadena, Humble and Kingwood are all regular. Call and ask — if you are inside about an hour of Houston the answer is almost certainly yes.
