Set-back elevations
Deep lots need the drive and foreground lit or the roofline display is lost from the road.
Mature oaks
Trunk wraps and branch lighting on established oaks carry more of the display than the roof does.
Classic warm white
Restrained schemes suit Memorial architecture. We will happily do colour, but warm white is usually the right call.
Timing
The 2026 booking calendar
We are booking now. Dates are allocated in the order they are confirmed.
August – September
Booking opens and availability is best. Returning customers get first refusal on last year’s date.
October
The calendar fills. Thanksgiving-weekend slots are usually gone by mid-month.
Early November
Most installs happen, tested and timed well before Thanksgiving.
January
Takedown, included. We label and store your runs for next season if you want.

Custom-cut to your roofline, not retail strings. Serviceable, consistent colour, and they survive the season.
Timers set to your evenings
Installed, programmed and tested so the display runs itself from dusk.
Service through the season
If a run fails in December we come back. That is the difference between a professional install and a weekend on a ladder.
Takedown in January
Removal included, with labelled storage of your runs for next year.

Memorial Christmas lighting questions
Our house sits a long way back from the street — is a display worth it?
Yes, but it has to be designed for the depth. Lighting only the roofline on a deep Memorial lot wastes most of it. We light the approach and the foreground trees so the display reads from the road and from the drive.
When should I book Christmas lights?
Late summer for the best availability. Bookings open through August and September and the popular dates around Thanksgiving are usually gone by mid-October.
How much does Christmas light installation cost?
It is priced by linear footage of roofline plus any tree or landscape elements. Send us your address and we can measure the roofline from satellite before visiting.
Do you take the lights down?
Yes, takedown in January is included, and we will label and store your runs for the following year.
Do you charge extra to travel to Memorial?
No. Memorial is inside our normal service area with no travel surcharge.
