Christmas Light Installation in Sugar Land, TX

Sugar Land rooflines are mostly two-storey brick with plenty of gable and dormer detail, which is exactly what a good Christmas install is for. The lines are already there in the architecture; we trace them rather than draping the house.

Local knowledge

Christmas lighting in Sugar Land

The complication is the HOA. First Colony, Telfair, Riverstone and Avalon all have something to say about when displays can go up and when they must come down, and some specify colour. We work to whatever your association allows and handle takedown inside the window.

On the ground

What matters on a Sugar Land roofline

Two-storey gable lines

Dormers, peaks and second-storey eaves need custom-cut runs and proper ladder work, not retail strings thrown at height.

HOA display windows

We install and take down inside your association’s permitted dates so you are never the house with a notice on the door.

Book by early October

Sugar Land fills fast and the Thanksgiving-weekend slots go first.

Timing

The 2026 booking calendar

We are booking now. Dates are allocated in the order they are confirmed.

August – September

Booking opens and availability is best. Returning customers get first refusal on last year’s date.

October

The calendar fills. Thanksgiving-weekend slots are usually gone by mid-month.

Early November

Most installs happen, tested and timed well before Thanksgiving.

January

Takedown, included. We label and store your runs for next season if you want.

Included

What every install includes

Commercial-grade lamps

Custom-cut to your roofline, not retail strings. Serviceable, consistent colour, and they survive the season.

Timers set to your evenings

Installed, programmed and tested so the display runs itself from dusk.

Service through the season

If a run fails in December we come back. That is the difference between a professional install and a weekend on a ladder.

Takedown in January

Removal included, with labelled storage of your runs for next year.

Reviews

What Houston-area homeowners say

I had wanted to do outdoor lighting for years, but it was hard to find a company to give a quote or even return my call. These guys came to my home and listened to my ideas, they made valuable suggestions. The installation was simple and their crew was very respectful. The end result is perfect lighting for my home.

We are really enjoying our backyard every evening now, which looks like a fairyland. He did lots of reworking, repairing and adding to an old system. I very seldom give reviews, but I really was so pleased with the service and work. He came when he said he would and did what he said he was going to.

Elwin was very professional. I watched him the whole time he was restoring my landscape lighting. He replaced bulbs for better lighting, installed new wiring, and did a great job of hiding wires. He arranged for my unit to run off of one box instead of three. My landscape lighting means the world to me.

The alternative

Tired of booking this every year?

If you want lights every season without the annual scramble, permanent roofline lighting is installed once and stays. Soft warm white every night of the year, team colours on game day, full colour at Christmas, all from your phone — and invisible from the street by day.

It costs more up front and then costs nothing each season. Plenty of our holiday customers switch to it after two or three years of seasonal installs.

Answers

Sugar Land Christmas lighting questions

Will you work within our Sugar Land HOA display rules?

Yes. Most Sugar Land associations set a window for when holiday lighting may be displayed and a deadline for removal. Tell us your association and we will schedule both install and takedown inside it.

When should I book Christmas lights?

Late summer for the best availability. Bookings open through August and September and the popular dates around Thanksgiving are usually gone by mid-October.

How much does Christmas light installation cost?

It is priced by linear footage of roofline plus any tree or landscape elements. Send us your address and we can measure the roofline from satellite before visiting.

Do you take the lights down?

Yes, takedown in January is included, and we will label and store your runs for the following year.

Do you charge extra to travel to Sugar Land?

No. Sugar Land is inside our normal service area with no travel surcharge.
